Piko 57154 – Starter Set DB Cargo BR 218 with 3 Freight Cars
The Piko 57154 is a complete H0 starter set featuring a realistic DB Cargo freight train from Era V. The set includes a powerful BR 218 diesel locomotive and three different freight wagons: a boxcar, a four-axle high-side open wagon, and a two-axle tank wagon. The package comes with PIKO A-track with ballast, including an oval layout measuring approx. 158 × 88 cm, plus a speed controller and power supply. The locomotive features direction-dependent white headlights and a driver figure inside the cab, adding an extra touch of realism. This set is ideal for beginners who want a solid and expandable foundation for their model railway.
Piko 57123 – Starter Set Freight Train with G7 Steam Locomotive and 5 Wagons
The Piko 57123 is a characterful H0 starter set inspired by Era III, when steam traction still dominated. The set includes an impressive G7 / BR 55 steam locomotive pulling a freight train of no less than five wagons, including a typical baggage/freight train coach. All models are painted and printed true to the prototype. The included PIKO A-track with ballast forms a layout of approx. 158 × 88 cm, and the set also includes a speed controller and power supply. With a total train length of 745 mm and a minimum radius of 358 mm, this set offers a beautifully classic atmosphere for any model railway enthusiast.
