    Dieseltreinstel VT 121 van de Süd-Thüringen-Bahn.

    In 2001 rolden de eerste treinstellen van de Süd-Thüringen-Bahn in Zuid-Thüringen op de rails. De Süd-Thüringen-Bahn beschikt over 37 voertuigen van het type RS 1/Regio Shuttle van de firma Stadler. Dit dieseltreinstel met ongeveer 70 zitplaatsen, gehandicaptenruimtes voor rolstoelen en kinderwagens, fietsen enz. en een toilet is speciaal ontworpen voor regionaal verkeer.
